Destinations

Tanzania is a land of extraordinary contrasts and natural beauty. From the vast plains of the Serengeti, where wildlife roams freely, to the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro, the country offers unforgettable experiences at every turn.

Safari Circuits of Tanzania

Because Tanzania is so vast and geographically diverse, it is helpful to divide the country’s major safari destinations into four main regions. This makes it easier for travelers to plan their journeys, understand travel distances, and choose the type of wildlife experience they want. Each region offers something unique from the endless plains of the north, to the remote wilderness of the south, the wild river systems of the west, and the scenic coastal and mountain attractions in the east.

1. Northern Circuit

Home to Tanzania’s most famous parksSerengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara, Tarangire, and Mount Kilimanjaro. Ideal for classic safari experiences.
